4 Hour Sessions

Day 1

Introduction & Purpose

To give the participant a knowledge of acoustical principles, specifications & measurements
To give the participant the ability to evaluate and design a critical listening environment.
To give the participant methods to achieve good acoustical results in project studios by showing construction of wide band absorbers, traps, ceiling clouds and diffusers.
To give the participant principles of good studio ergonomic design & good wiring integration.
To give the participant a working knowledge of monitor loudspeakers (design & applications)

Each participant will be asked to bring a diagram of their current work space. ....
